The
Torrington
Water Dept is reminding it's customers in the city and it's customers outside
the corporate limits that the watering restrictions are still in effect and
will be enforced.
If the last number of an address is an
odd number, the days to water areSunday,
Wednesday and Friday.
If the last number of the address is an
even number, the days to water are Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday.
March 1st to
October 31st:
There will
be no watering on Mondays.
There is no
watering
between the hours of 10 a.m.
and
6 p.m.
November 1st of
the last day in February:
There will
be no watering on Mondays.
Watering
permited on prescribed days at any time.
Fines for the violation of the restrictions ordinance are:
• First offense, warning.
• Second offense, $15.
• Third offense, $25.
