Building Inspector Dennis Estes

has been keeping busy with all of the new construction.  From June 2003 till    present we have seen the start of 14 new homes in city limits with a total somewhere around 45 county wide.  This number is up considerably from recent years.  The average square foot cost of homes built on sight in The City of Torrington has seen an increase in new home starts in the past year.  City Building Torrington is $85,000 to $95,000.
