Welcome to Goshen County, Wyoming
A Place Where Agriculture Is Still Appreciated

The first thing you will notice about Wyoming is the wide-open spaces. There are only 5.6 people per square mile in Goshen County. Much of Wyoming consists of beautiful National Forests and State-owned lands. Goshen County has abundant big game, water fowl, upland game birds and fishing. Wyoming's roots are in agriculture and the State continues to hold this industry dear to its heart. You can count on friendly neighbors and a cooperative State and local government.  Goshen County has three museums, two libraries, excellent schools, 24 churches of all major denominations, and a 35-bed hospital in Torrington.   We also have the largest cattle auction yard in the State located in Torrington.
